Post FAQ - What you should know!
Q: When will the next episode of "Dude Where's My Mount" come out?
A: Short answer: When its done. Long answer: When it is done.

Q: I love the show, and I think you guys should totally get some money for doing it! How can I help?
A: We'll get some PayPal buttons setup soon.

Q: Who are you guys?
A: In the interest of not repeating ourselves, please see the About Us page on the website.

Q: What the crap is Apt T?
A: "Apt T" is short for Apartment T. It's simply where the show was revived. It's where Chris and Jacob used to live together, but Chris has now moved out with his girlfriend. Phil, has never lived at Apt T, but is an honorable r'mate of the Apt T legacy, as are Ray and Dave.

Q: How do you make the show?
A: Simple answer? Fraps, WoW, and some voice recording equipment. Painful answer? With pain. Lots of it. It's actually a surprisingly frustrating process to shoot. Sometimes you get people in the shot, sometimes we disagree on angles, sometimes we get distracted and run the Deadmines in the middle of a shoot. There's always that temptation to, y'know, play the game. If you want a list of the programs we use for each episode, check out the ending credits, where we've started listing each program used. In general, we use the Adobe Creative Suite for all of our video/effects work, and Dave uses some really awesome Sound editing software. Most of it is on the proffessional level, with the exclusions being FRAPS (available at http://www.fraps.com in both free and purchased flavors), and WoW Model and Map Viewers (available at http://www.wowmodelviewer.com). Those last two are instrumental in capturing the show, as well as creating effects shots for anything that can't be done in game. For any console footage, Phil uses a capture card.

Q: Where do you play? Can I play with you guys?
A: Absolutely. One of the things we want to do most is form a community, and we can do that through our guilds. We have two guilds on the Whisperwind server, which is a US server (sorry international fans!). The Alliance side is the one we play the most (naturally, as our characters for the show are humans), and the guild is called (as mentioned above) “Dude Wheres My Mount?” We just recently decided to form a Horde guild, so as to reach out to our friends in the other faction. The Horde guild is “Dude Where Me Mount” and is run by our buddy Joelle. The guild masters are respectively Phillyness (Alliance) and Kahvi (Horde). Feel free to contact either of them in game for an invite, but keep in mind that you have to be online for us to invite you. Alternatively, you can ask Jacob’s character "DaveJenkins" for an invite to the Alliance side, or Teresa's character "Telesuh".

Q: Can I be in the show?
A: That is the golden question that I have heard about seven hojillion times, and the main driving reason behind writing this FAQ. Here’s the deal: we have at least the next ten episodes planned out, and the amount of additional characters we will need is not even in the double digits. Yes, we’ll need a few extras here and there, and those extras will be pulled almost exclusively from our Guild, so that’s your incentive to join up. But keep this in mind: generally, we will just randomly ask a person that’s online while we’re shooting to step into a shot for a few seconds. Your chances of being in the show as an extra are small, your chances of joining up as a main character are none. I don’t want to sound harsh, but to maintain our already low integrity, we will not be casting anyone outside our existing company as main characters. It would be just too hard to coordinate movements and emotes and shooting times with people that we can’t talk to face to face.

Q: Well what if I’m a certain level and class? Can I be in the show then?
A: There is a chance, but it is small. Yes, we will someday need access to certain abilities in game that are specific to certain classes, but if we don’t already have access to them , we will find a workaround. We don’t have time once we’re shooting to wait for someone to level a mage to 40 for portals, or get a Hunter up to the level where they can use Eyes of the Beast. If we have access to things like that through the guild, sure, we’ll use them. But we aren’t going to ask or require anyone but us to gain access to those abilities if they aren’t otherwise available. So if you are a level whatever warlock, and we need a succubus for a shot, and you’re online when we need you, and you are competent enough in our opinion to act in the show, and you haven’t already asked us a billion times to be in the show, maybe we will ask you to be in the show. MAYBE. But there is next to nothing you can do to affect that chance, besides play the game and develop a good standing within the guild.

Q: Can you tell me “X” about the show? Who’s that one person? What if I’m in the guild?
A: No, no, and no. This is simple: If we tell one person “X” about the next episode, they might tell their friends, who might tell their friends, until no one is surprised when “X” happens. Being in the guild doesn’t give you access to anything more than being able to play with people who enjoy the show, as well as the creators of said show. Trust in the fact that all will be revealed in due time, and that hopefully, by the end of all this, we will have left no questions unanswered.

Q: Are you guys going to ever sell T-shirts? DVD’s with the show on it? Anything?
A: Maybe.

Q: Is Phil really as gay as he seems in the show?

No. He's much worse, I assure you.
